Confirmation of Payee in the UK
Check the name of the account you are sending a payment to, reducing the chance of sending money to the wrong account.
Confirmation of Payee is the UK’s account name-checking service, enabling you to quickly see whether the name of the account you are sending to matches the name of the person you intend to make a payment to. Whilst this can’t guarantee that you aren’t the victim of a scam, it provides you with an additional layer of re-assurance.
All Octalas accounts are also enabled so that the account name can be checked by someone paying money into a Octalas account.
